Three coaches of the Secunderabad-Shalimar Superfast Express derailed near Howrah, West Bengal, early this morning at Nalpur, about 40 km from Kolkata. The derailment, involving a parcel van and two coaches, occurred as the train was shifting tracks. Fortunately, no casualties or major injuries have been reported, according to South Eastern Railway. Relief trains, medical assistance from Santragachhi and Kharagpur, and buses have been provided to aid and transport stranded passengers. The incident occurred around 5:31 am, and officials are working to restore normal services.
