The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has written to the International Cricket Council (ICC) for clarity over India's refusal to travel to Pakistan for the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy. The PCB’s letter requests an official explanation of India’s stance, underscoring Pakistan’s commitment to hosting the entire tournament domestically. Previously, reports speculated about a hybrid model; however, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has dismissed this, emphasizing Pakistan's right to full hosting. India’s reluctance reportedly stems from security concerns, potentially forcing the ICC to explore alternative venues if the situation remains unresolved. The Champions Trophy is scheduled from February 19 to March 9.
