Uddhav Thackeray Vows to "Halt Shift of Projects from Maharashtra to Gujarat"

Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray pledged to halt the shift of projects from Maharashtra to Gujarat if voted back into power. Speaking at a rally in Sindhudurg, he criticized Union Home Minister Amit Shah, challenging his definition of “development.” Thackeray accused the BJP of moving industrial and economic projects from Maharashtra to Gujarat, claiming they even diverted a submarine project intended for Maharashtra. He said the upcoming Maharashtra election is a “battle between those who love the state and the traitors.” Maharashtra’s single-phase election is set for November 20, with results on November 23.
