A case of medical negligence unfolded at Anand Spectrum Hospital in Greater Noida when a doctor operated on the wrong eye of a 7-year-old boy. The child, who had gone for surgery on his left eye due to frequent watering, underwent surgery on his right eye instead. The mistake was noticed by the boy's mother after they returned home. The family confronted the doctor, but were met with misbehavior. A complaint has been filed with the Chief Medical Officer of Gautam Buddha Nagar, calling for the cancellation of the doctor's license and the hospital's closure.
