Aaryavir Sehwag, son of cricket legend Virender Sehwag, made waves on November 21, 2024, by scoring a double century for Delhi in the Cooch Behar Trophy against Meghalaya. The 17-year-old remained unbeaten on 200, helping Delhi build a strong 208-run lead. Aaryavir and Arnav S Bugga set the stage with a 180-run opening partnership. Bugga also scored a century before his dismissal. Aaryavir’s impressive knock of 200 came off 229 balls. Earlier this year, he made his U-19 debut for Delhi and is eyeing a future IPL contract, following in his father’s footsteps.
