The Supreme Court flagged lapses in the implementation of GRAP Stage 4 restrictions aimed at controlling Delhi’s severe air pollution. Despite the "severe-plus" Air Quality Index (AQI) levels, the court found that heavy vehicles were still entering the capital, violating the curbs. The court ordered the Delhi government and police to provide CCTV footage from 13 entry points to verify compliance. Additionally, 13 lawyers were appointed to report on whether non-essential trucks and light commercial vehicles were allowed entry. The next hearing is set for November 25.
