Prime Minister Narendra Modi marked the 26/11 Mumbai attack anniversary by paying tribute to the victims and promising a strong response to terror groups. Speaking at Constitution Day celebrations, he said, “All terrorist organisations challenging India’s security will get a befitting reply.” Modi also highlighted the implementation of India’s Constitution in Jammu and Kashmir and invoked the 1975 Emergency, praising the resilience of democracy. Referring to the Constitution’s original copy, he noted its depiction of Indian culture. He emphasised that the sentiment of “nation first” will sustain the Constitution for centuries.
