A deadly explosion in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, killed four women and injured five others on November 26, 2024. The blast, which occurred around midnight in Rathore Colony, caused the collapse of three houses. Vasudev Rathore, whose daughter-in-law was among the deceased, suspects the blast was caused by gunpowder, as LPG cylinders were found intact. The cause of the explosion is still unclear, and a forensic team is investigating whether it was due to gunpowder or a gas cylinder. The injured have been transferred to Gwalior for treatment, said local authorities.
