At least 3 people were killed and 20 others injured when a BEST bus lost control in Mumbai's Kurla area. The bus, on route 332 from Kurla station to Andheri, hit pedestrians and vehicles before crashing into the gates of a residential society. Authorities suspect a brake failure caused the accident. A nurse at Kurla Bhabha Hospital confirmed that three of the injured were declared dead. The driver of the bus was unharmed. The incident is under investigation by local officials.
