28 Countries Including India, US, UK and EU Sign World's First Agreement to Contain Risks Associated with Artificial Intelligence

India has joined 27 countries and the European Union in signing the world's first agreement on artificial intelligence (AI) safety at a summit in the UK. The Bletchley Declaration pledge aims to assess risks associated with AI. The two-day AI Safety Summit began at Bletchley Park, the UK's World War II code-breaking center. UK PM Rishi Sunak termed the declaration a landmark for the world's major AI powers to understand the technology's risks. Addressing the summit, India's IT minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar said India views AI through lenses of openness, safety, trust and accountability.
