Actor Saif Ali Khan was discharged from Lilavati Hospital five days after being stabbed at his Bandra home. The 54-year-old underwent a five-hour surgery and is now recovering. The attack occurred early Thursday when an intruder broke into his house. Saif suffered six injuries, including two deep cuts, but escaped major damage. Doctors confirmed he is out of danger. Police arrested the accused, Shariful Islam, on Sunday. He claimed he didn’t know the house belonged to Saif and intended to rob a wealthy home. Saif returned home with his wife, Kareena Kapoor, on Tuesday. Police investigations continue.
