Union Home Minister Amit Shah strongly criticized Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for alleging that Haryana's government mixed poison into the Yamuna river. During a rally in Kalkaji, Shah challenged Kejriwal to provide evidence, disclose the Delhi Jal Board report, and name the alleged poison. Kejriwal's claim was earlier refuted by Delhi Jal Board CEO Shilpa Shinde as "misleading." Shah accused Kejriwal of scaremongering and breaking promises, urging voters to back BJP's Ramesh Bidhuri in the upcoming February 5 Delhi Assembly elections. Kejriwal countered by framing the polls as a choice between public welfare and corporate favoritism.
