BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad claimed in Parliament that the probe into the Maha Kumbh stampede in Prayagraj suggests a conspiracy. The tragedy on January 29, during Mauni Amavasya, left 30 dead and 60 injured. Prasad said the investigation is ongoing, and those responsible will be exposed. Opposition leaders demanded a discussion in Parliament and a list of the deceased. They also protested, calling for accountability. The crowd had broken barricades as millions rushed for a holy dip. The Supreme Court refused to hear a PIL on the incident, directing the petitioner to approach the High Court.
