Arvind Kejriwal accepted AAP’s defeat in the Delhi election and congratulated BJP. "The people's decision is paramount. We accept the verdict," he said. Kejriwal lost his New Delhi seat to BJP’s Parvesh Verma. He promised AAP would play a constructive opposition role. "We did not enter politics for power but to serve people," he added. AAP’s Manish Sisodia and Saurabh Bhardwaj also lost. Only Atishi won among top leaders. BJP, returning to power after 27 years, credited PM Modi’s leadership for the victory. "We will leave no stone unturned in developing Delhi," Modi said.
