Following BJP’s landslide victory in Delhi, speculation over the next chief minister has intensified. Parvesh Verma, who defeated Arvind Kejriwal in New Delhi, is the frontrunner. Other contenders include Ashish Sood, Pawan Sharma, and former Delhi BJP presidents Vijender Gupta and Satish Upadhyay. The BJP leadership may also consider a woman candidate, with Shikha Roy and Rekha Gupta emerging as possibilities. Some leaders suggest an MP like Manoj Tiwari could be picked. Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva confirmed the final decision rests with the party’s central leadership as anticipation grows.
