Haryana Congress worker Himani Narwal, 22, was found dead inside a suitcase near a Rohtak bus stand. The suspect, Sachin from Bahadurgarh, was arrested in Delhi two days later. During interrogation, he confessed to the crime, revealing they had been in a relationship. Sachin alleged that Himani had extorted large sums from him and was demanding more, leading to frustration and the subsequent murder at her Rohtak residence. He then disposed of her body in the suitcase. Himani gained prominence after being photographed with Congress MP Rahul Gandhi during the Bharat Jodo Yatra. Her family, initially refusing cremation until the arrest, now demands the death penalty for the perpetrator.
