Rescue operations have intensified following the collapse of the Srisailam Left Bank Canal (SLBC) tunnel in Telangana, where eight workers, including two engineers, remain trapped. Specialized machinery and expert teams, including those from the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) and South Central Railway (SCR), are engaged in clearing the final 40-50 meters of debris to reach the trapped individuals. The BRO has confirmed the stabilization of the tunnel site, allowing for safer debris removal operations.
