Five contract workers tragically died due to suffocation while cleaning a water tank at the Bismillah Space building in Mumbai's Nagpada on Sunday afternoon. The incident occurred around 12:30 pm when the workers, who were tasked with cleaning the tank, lost consciousness. Emergency responders rushed them to JJ Hospital, where they were declared dead upon arrival. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), local police, and fire officials have launched an investigation into the cause of the incident. A probe is currently ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
