A seven-year-old girl, Anchal Kumar, was injured during an encounter between security forces and terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district. She was taken to a hospital and is in stable condition. Security forces launched a search operation after spotting terrorists hiding in a nursery near the border in Hiranagar sector. The terrorists opened fire, leading to a gunfight. No casualties were reported initially. Reinforcements were sent to the area, and the cordon was tightened.
