Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut has claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is planning to retire in September and that his recent visit to the RSS headquarters in Nagpur was linked to this transition. Raut alleged that PM Modi, who has not visited the RSS office in over a decade, went to bid farewell to RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat. He suggested that the RSS is looking for a new leader. The remarks came after Modi paid tribute to RSS founder Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, calling the organisation a “banyan tree” of India’s cultural and ideological heritage. (PC: PTI)
