The attack took place in the Baisaran meadow, known for its scenic views, when gunmen fired at point-blank range, causing widespread panic. Eyewitnesses reported tourists scrambling for cover as gunshots rang out. The Resistance Front, a militant group linked to Lashkar-e-Taiba, claimed responsibility for the attack.
