Russian President Vladimir Putin condemned the Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26, calling it “a brutal crime with no justification.” In a message to President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he expressed deep condolences and offered heartfelt support to the victims’ families. Putin highlighted the need for intensified India-Russia cooperation in fighting terrorism and stressed that the perpetrators must face justice. Reaffirming solidarity with India, he added that “this crime against civilians cannot be excused.” He also extended wishes for the speedy recovery of those injured in the worst attack in Kashmir since Pulwama in 2019.
