In a devastating terror attack in Kashmir’s Pahalgam region, 28 tourists, including at least two foreign nationals, were killed when gunmen opened fire in the Baisaran meadow area around 2:30 PM. The Resistance Front, linked to Lashkar-e-Taiba, claimed responsibility. Eyewitnesses reported terrorists in army fatigues indiscriminately firing at tourists, many of whom were women and elderly. Several injured have been hospitalized. PM Modi cut short his visit to Saudi Arabia and is returning to India.
