Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has vowed a strong response to those responsible for the Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 people, including two foreigners. Addressing the nation a day after the attack, Singh declared, "We will get those behind the scenes." He emphasized India's zero-tolerance policy for terrorism and chaired a high-level meeting with top defence officials to review security in Jammu and Kashmir. The attack, claimed to be carried out by The Resistance Front, a Lashkar-e-Taiba affiliate, targeted tourists in Baisaran.
