Gautam Gambhir, India's cricket head coach and former BJP MP, received two death threats via email on April 22 from a sender claiming to be "ISIS Kashmir," with the chilling message "IKillU." The threats coincided with a terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, that killed 26 civilians. Gambhir approached Delhi Police, requesting an FIR and enhanced security for himself and his family. This isn't the first such threat; a similar email was received in 2021 during his tenure as MP. Condemning the Pahalgam attack, Gambhir vowed on social media that "India will strike" and those responsible "will pay." (PC: News18)
