A Border Security Force (BSF) jawan was taken into custody by Pakistan Rangers after accidentally crossing the International Border in Punjab’s Ferozepur sector on Wednesday. The incident occurred during a routine patrol when the soldier inadvertently stepped beyond the Indian fence and entered Pakistani territory near farmland. Officials from both sides quickly initiated a flag meeting to resolve the matter diplomatically. The jawan remains in Pakistani custody as talks continue to ensure his safe and swift return.
