Three terrorists linked to the Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba were arrested in Bandipora, Jammu and Kashmir, two days after the Pahalgam attack that claimed 26 lives. Security forces recovered arms, a Chinese pistol, grenades, and ammunition during the operation in Garoora Hajin. The arrests come amid heightened security and diplomatic escalation following the worst terror strike in Kashmir since Pulwama. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing a rally in Bihar, said, “India will identify, track and punish every terrorist and their backers.” India has since revoked Pakistani visas, suspended the Indus Waters Treaty, and ordered a diplomatic downgrade with Pakistan.
