3 people were killed in a shooting in Uppsala, Sweden, on Tuesday. Police said shots were fired in the city centre, around 60 kilometres north of Stockholm. Several people were also wounded. Witnesses said the shooter escaped on a scooter after firing inside a hair salon. Police have started a murder investigation. Sweden has faced growing problems with shootings and gang violence in recent years. Many young teens are used as shooters because they are below the age of criminal responsibility. Although shootings dropped in 2024, violence remains a big concern. Police are searching for the suspect. (PC: Reuters)
