Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday vowed a strong response to the Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 civilians on April 22. Speaking at the Sanskriti Jagran Mahotsav in Delhi, Singh said, “As Defence Minister, it is my responsibility to give a befitting reply to those who dare to attack our country.” He added, “Under PM Modi’s leadership, what you desire will certainly happen.” His remarks come after PM Modi’s high-level security meeting where the armed forces were given full freedom to plan a response.
