In the aftermath of the deadly Pahalgam terror attack that claimed 26 lives, six police officials have been transferred from Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag district. Notably, Inspector Reyaz Ahmad has been relieved from his duties at the Pahalgam Police Station and reassigned to the ASP Camp in Aishmuqam. Other transferred officers include Nisar Ahmad, Peer Ahmad Gulzar, Salinder Singh, and Parvaiz Ahmad. The reshuffle follows heightened security operations in the region and mounting scrutiny. While no official reason has been cited for the transfers, they come amid intensified efforts to dismantle the terror network behind the April 22 attack. (PC: AFP)
