Intense overnight shelling across the India-Pakistan border has killed a woman in the Uri sector of Baramulla and injured several others, including an Indian soldier. Continuous shelling in Rajouri, Akhnoor, and Kupwara districts damaged dozens of homes, prompting mass evacuations. Over 18 people have died and nearly 60 injured in the ongoing hostilities. Thousands have been moved to relief camps in five districts of the Jammu region. Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and senior officials visited affected areas.
