J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, in an interview with NDTV, said Pakistan has “managed to internationalise Kashmir” following the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack. The massacre of 26 people, mostly tourists, has devastated the Valley’s recovering economy, emptied tourist hotspots, shut schools, and grounded flights. Abdullah reflected, “Everything has changed, and yet in some ways, nothing has.” He expressed concern over the crumbling ceasefire and growing international attention, especially from the US. The attack led to India's launch of Operation Sindoor, targeting terror camps in Pakistan and PoK. Pakistan responded with drones and artillery before agreeing to de-escalate after four days.
