The National Commission for Women (NCW) condemned the online abuse of Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri and his daughter. The trolling began after India and Pakistan agreed to a ceasefire on May 10. NCW chief Vijaya Rahatkar called the sharing of the daughter’s contact details a serious privacy breach. She urged people to act with dignity online. Support came from veteran diplomat Nirupama Rao and leaders like Asaduddin Owaisi and Akhilesh Yadav. Misri, a senior diplomat, has served as ambassador to China, Spain, and Myanmar.
