Srinagar Airport will reopen for flights on Tuesday, six days after it was shut due to India-Pakistan tensions. Haj flights will resume on Wednesday, airport director Javed Anjum confirmed. Flights were stopped on May 7 after India launched Operation Sindoor, targeting terror camps in Pakistan and POK. The Indian Air Force said there was no border activity overnight, leading to the decision. Seven Haj flights were cancelled during the closure. Now, three flights will run on May 14 and 15. A new schedule will be given soon. Over 3,800 pilgrims from J&K and Ladakh are travelling for Haj this year. (PC: AFP)
