Three Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists were killed in a gunfight in Tral, Pulwama on Thursday after drone footage captured them hiding in an under-construction building. Identified as Asif Ahmed Sheikh, Amir Nazir Wani, and Yawar Ahmed Bhat, the militants were armed and linked to the Pakistan-based terror group. Security forces acted on intelligence inputs, swiftly launching the operation. This encounter comes just days after a ceasefire understanding with Pakistan and amid investigations into the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack. Authorities are probing the terrorists’ possible role in the massacre. Operation Sindoor continues to deliver strong counter-terror measures across Jammu and Kashmir.
