A new Brexit deal between the UK and the EU could soon make it easier for people to travel with their pets. Since Brexit, pet owners have had to deal with a lot of rules—like getting their animals microchipped, vaccinated for rabies, treated for tapeworms, and paying around £200 for a health certificate each time they travel. These rules made travel stressful and expensive. The new agreement hopes to bring back something like the old pet passport, which was much simpler.
