New UK-EU Brexit Deal Could Make It Easier for Pet Owners to Travel with Their Animals

A new Brexit deal between the UK and the EU could soon make it easier for people to travel with their pets. Since Brexit, pet owners have had to deal with a lot of rules—like getting their animals microchipped, vaccinated for rabies, treated for tapeworms, and paying around £200 for a health certificate each time they travel. These rules made travel stressful and expensive. The new agreement hopes to bring back something like the old pet passport, which was much simpler. If approved, it will help pet owners, boost tourism, and make trips with furry friends easier and cheaper. (PC: Yux Xiang)
