A person was shot early Thursday outside the CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia, just hours after two Israeli Embassy staffers were killed in Washington, D.C. The CIA confirmed a “security incident,” stating that security personnel engaged the individual, who is now in custody. The agency did not confirm whether the person was shot. The incident happened around 4 a.m., according to Fairfax Police. It remains unclear if this is linked to Wednesday’s fatal shooting of two embassy staff members by a gunman shouting “Free, free Palestine.” The embassy victims were a couple, one Israeli and one American, soon to be engaged.
