A joyride at a private amusement park on Chennai’s East Coast Road malfunctioned on Tuesday, leaving 30 people, including women and children, stranded over 50 feet above ground. The terrifying incident prompted an immediate response from Fire and Rescue Services, who began operations to bring down the passengers safely, one by one. Authorities have confirmed that a giant crane is being deployed for the rescue mission. No injuries have been reported so far.
