In a major boost for tourism and bilateral relations, the Philippines has announced visa-free entry for Indian passport holders for stays of up to 14 days, with an option to extend to 30 days for those holding valid visas or residency in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, Singapore, or Schengen nations. Indian tourists must meet entry conditions such as valid passports, confirmed bookings, sufficient funds, and return tickets. The Philippines is also launching an e-visa platform and plans to introduce a digital nomad visa. This move aims to attract more Indian travellers to the country's 7,000+ idyllic islands.
