At least 26 Palestinians were killed and over 150 injured after Israeli tanks reportedly opened fire near a humanitarian aid distribution site west of Rafah, Gaza, according to local medics and the Red Cross. Thousands had gathered to receive U.S.-backed aid when the attack occurred. The wounded are being treated at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis. The Israeli Defence Forces stated they are unaware of any casualties from IDF fire at the site and are reviewing the incident. The attack comes amid renewed Israeli offensives in Gaza following the collapse of a ceasefire on March 18, and rising international scrutiny. (PC: Getty Images)
