The new series includes the ৳20 note featuring Kantajew Temple and Somapura Mahavihara, the ৳50 note showcasing Ahsan Manzil and Zainul Abedin's painting "The Struggle," and the ৳1000 note depicting the National Martyrs' Memorial and Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban. This change follows the 2024 political shift that led to the removal of Mujib's imagery from public spaces and institutions, aiming to emphasize Bangladesh's diverse heritage over individual political figures.
