Germany’s defence chief, General Carsten Breuer, warned that Russia could attack NATO in the next four years. Speaking at a defence summit in Singapore, he said Russia is making 1,500 tanks and millions of shells each year. These weapons are not just for Ukraine but also for future attacks, possibly on NATO’s Baltic members. He said NATO must prepare to defend itself now. He pointed to cyber attacks and damaged cables as signs of growing threats. Despite some disagreements, he said NATO remains united.
