A complaint has been filed against RCB star Virat Kohli following a deadly stampede during the team’s IPL victory celebration in Bengaluru. The stampede outside M Chinnaswamy Stadium killed 11 people and injured over 50. Activist HM Venkatesh filed the complaint at Cubbon Park Police Station. Police said Kohli’s name will be examined under the existing case filed against RCB, KSCA, and event partner DNA Networks. Authorities say the RCB parade was announced without police clearance. Marketing head Nikhil Sosale was arrested, and three others were detained. The Karnataka government has suspended top police officers over security lapses. (PC: PTI )
