Russia launched a massive overnight assault on Ukraine, firing 400 drones and 40 missiles, killing at least four and injuring nearly 50. Kyiv bore the brunt of the attack, with fatalities including three emergency workers. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called it one of the largest strikes since the war began. The barrage followed Ukraine’s bold drone strike on Russian bombers and attacks on airfields and the Crimean Bridge. Ukraine claimed to have intercepted 406 of 452 projectiles. Meanwhile, Russia hinted at more reprisals following a call between Putin and former U.S. President Donald Trump earlier this week. (PC: AFP)
