A complaint has been filed against cricketer Virat Kohli by activist HM Venkatesh at Bengaluru’s Cubbon Park Police Station, alleging Kohli promoted “gambling through IPL,” inciting the crowd that led to the June 4 stampede near Chinnaswamy Stadium, which killed 11 people. Police have not registered an FIR yet but confirmed the complaint will be reviewed. Four individuals, including RCB official Nikhil Sosale, are in judicial custody. Karnataka Police have also booked the RCB franchise, DNA Entertainment, and KSCA for culpable homicide. Meanwhile, the high court granted interim relief to KSCA officials and adjourned the case to June 9. (PC: ANI)
