External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar praised two multi-party delegations that returned from outreach visits to African and Gulf nations, saying they “did well” in presenting India’s narrative on terrorism. The teams, led by Supriya Sule and Shrikant Shinde, visited over a dozen countries including South Africa, UAE, and Liberia. Officials in Sierra Leone and Liberia held moments of silence for Pahalgam attack victims. Some nations urged India to improve communication and engage more deeply beyond trade. Jaishankar stressed these "non-prominent" countries could play future roles and acknowledged their appreciation for India’s COVID-19 aid and peacekeeping efforts. (PC: News18)
