Vehicle movement came to a halt as floodwaters submerged the road, with a Pune Municipal Corporation AC bus partially underwater, captured in a viral video showing waves striking its side . Hinjewadi, home to around 400 IT and IT-enabled firms, has long struggled with inadequate drainage — a problem worsened by ongoing metro construction blocking natural water flow from nearby hills .
