Indore Woman Sonam Raghuvanshi Arrested for Allegedly Plotting Husband’s Murder During Meghalaya Honeymoon

An Indore woman, Sonam Raghuvanshi, has been arrested in Ghazipur for allegedly orchestrating the murder of her husband, Raja Raghuvanshi, during their honeymoon in Meghalaya. Raja went missing on May 23 and was later found dead in a 1,000-foot gorge on June 2. Police claim Sonam conspired with hired killers; four people have been arrested so far. The couple last checked out from a Nongriat homestay and were seen trekking. Investigators found an abandoned scooter and mobile phone. A Special Investigation Team is probing the case, which has shocked both Meghalaya and Madhya Pradesh. (PC: India Today)
