Meghalaya police have named 21‑year‑old Raj Kushwaha as a prime accused in the May 23 honeymoon murder of Indore newlywed Raja Raghuvanshi. Investigators suspect Sonam Raghuvanshi, now in custody after surrendering in Ghazipur on June 8, conspired with her former employee and lover Kushwaha, orchestrating the murder by hiring assailants. Four accomplices, Akash Rajput, Vishal Singh Chauhan, Raj Kushwaha and Anand Kurmi have been arrested across UP, MP and Indore; one suspect is still at large. Raja’s body was recovered from a gorge near Wei Sawdong Falls alongside a machete weapon. A local guide’s tip and CCTV footage aided the SIT’s breakthrough hunt. (PC: The New Indian Express)
