The IMD issued an orange alert for Delhi and adjacent states from June 10 to 11, followed by yellow alerts through June 13. Humidity hovered between 25–48 %, intensifying discomfort. Night‑time lows remained elevated (~27.6–28 °C), raising health concerns. Delhi’s Air Quality Index worsened to 235, deemed “poor”.
